Drivers side overhead card holder.

Does anyone know if the card holder above the drivers seat can be replaced with a handle like the one there on the passenger side. If it is possible where can I get a handle?

Thanks!

You know, the 'Search' feature on this website is amazing. You should try it sometime!

If you had, you would have found this link on your own:

Yes it does. If you order one with another coat hook, you can have two of them with coat hooks in your car.

Re: Drivers side overhead card holder.

I've seen the post where the card holder was nicely replaced with a spare grab handle.

My question is: why would anyone want a grab handle on the driver's side?

Plus, I have personally found the card holder useful.

Re: Drivers side overhead card holder.

Maybe the grab handle could be used in getting out of the vehicle? Personally, I'm planning on putting in the handle just so I can avoid amy more of those "what's that for?" questions from passengers. I'm tired of explaining it.

Re: Drivers side overhead card holder.

for a week or two i would put the gas credit car in that thing to keep my wallet thinner. but the with the heat and the way it is made the card started to warp and was hard to use so now its just an empty card holder .
