Hello!

I've got a 2004 G35 Sedan, and I've been itching to replace the exhaust since it's a bit quiet, BUT I don't want a drooooooooooning nightmare either. [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img] So, I am looking to find someone with a G35 Sedan with the Stillen or Borla exhaust, so I can meet up with them and benefit from their wisdom.

My offer is:

You tell me the place and time near Milwaukee, Madison, or Chicago area. I will meet up with you and listen to your pride and joy go thru its normal paces. Afterwards, I will buy you lunch and we can discuss G35 or other car topics! [img]/w3timages/icons/laugh.gif[/img] I've got a Crawford v5 plenum and one of the VDC memory switches, so perhaps we could swap some experience.

Eau Claire is three hours north of Madison, but if you want to drive up, you can hear a Borla. It drones between 1500 & 2000 and really sings sweetly above 4K.

rikker (or anyone else), I keep a huge stash of G35 videos and have some of both Stillen and Borla revs. Although it's not as good as in person, it may help. PM me and I can email them to you if your account can handle it.

Thanks for the info, nate. I also have a clump of videos and sound clips. My reason for the in-person listening, though, is to hear what I've not heard thus far: how the car sounds in "normal" driving as well as the standard idling/launching/etc. My primary concern is the fabled Stillen "drone" in low rpm, higher throttle combinations -- precisely where I normally drive it around town.
