I just bought a new stock front bumper and lip at the time, so I had my friend spray the trim at the same time. Forgot to do the mirrors, but I'll get that if there is a next time.

IMO the 07+ are superior in styling, quality and performance... it’s just a better car plain and simple.

03-06 nothing different enough about any of them to have me make the same statement.

I was trying to be general in the frist body style. Not a fan of the doggie door myself but thats an easy fix. I just think the style of the old body has more of a sporty feel to it and not just a baby cruiser.

The new body looks good but its not its got too much of an IS feel to me. I know my car will not get mistaken for a camry or maxima when driving down the street.

Texan1... pics of the interior!

You forgot the tail lights. I like how they brought back the two round lights in the form of LEDs when they did the revisions.

Thanks. I've had a few riced out cars before with crazy body kits and tons of carbon fiber everywhere... I decided I'm going to keep my cars clean from now on...

And although I should get a new bumper and lip again, I've been wanting to take some more shots sometime...

that may be true in that it is newer, and the latest engineering........my only problem with the new sedan is that ghey chrome deck-lip and the bloated-size of the car's exterior and dash make me feel like I'm driving a crown vic............

I agree with the chrome-like trunk lip... however it looks good body color. Tustin Infiniti had several that were body color and I thought the manufacturer came to there senses, but it appears they had them painted after-market... for the 04s they had some of the emblems black-chromed (that’s were I got my contact) - they seem to know what looks good.

As for "bloated" I disagree... I think the coupe looks pudgy, but the sedan looks sleek and stylish to me.

I don’t know what Crown Vics you've been driving, but the G is nothing like it... however, the 07 sedan I drove had a useless screen - the contrast could not be set high enough to see the thing in the day time.

Honestly I think anyone that drives an 07+ and a pre-07 would be less that truthful if they said the 07 is not superior.

And of course I have an 04... take your bias out of the equation and I'm sure you would see the truth. The current sedan is the only one that I would even consider trading for (and I did for a minute)... I'm so far into modding this car that I'm not gonna trade until I finish the ideas I have.

If/when its time for another car - if I stay with a Nissan it will be the 370 (or 390)Z... unless Infiniti finally releases a turbo G. Otherwise its gonna be a muscle car.

Anyway - 07+ are overall a better car than pre-07 and anyone with an once of ability to evaluate a car would agree.

From a stock standpoint, the 07+ G sedans owns the 1st gen. Add the Nismo front, paint the sills (if 03/04), a slight drop, wheels, etc. and the 1st gen sedan really comes into it's own. All the 07 really needs is a set of wheels and drop to set it off. Both cars are great......once modded with some simple visual enhancements. I'm EXTREMELY happy with the look of mine, but it's taken a little work to get there and I've enjoyed every moment of it. I love setting my cars a part from the OEM look. If I had the money, I'd rather be driving the 07+, but I'm still very happy with my 03 G.

It went from this-
