Shocks for lowered cars?

I notice that some of you have lowered your cars, either with coilovers or with the Eibach ProKit springs. For those of you with the Eibachs, what kind of drop did you get? Also, does anyone have a recommendation of what shocks to get to go along with the Eibachs? I'm assuming that the OE shocks will not be a good match, but perhaps I'm wrong. Thanks.

Re: Shocks for lowered cars?

Hi Rufus.

I have my car dropped with the Eibachs.. The eibach pro kit only drops 1.1".. there are other companies such as intrax with 2inch drops.. I dont think any shocks are out for the G yet.. Im just using my shocks till they wear out or until i have enough $ to get coilovers..

Re: Shocks for lowered cars?

Thanks for the info, Pestilence. How does the car ride with the Eibachs? Did you have the regular suspension or sport package on your car before you lowered it? I love the ride and handling on my G but feel it would handle even better with a slightly lower ride height. I have the sport package, by the way.

It corners just fine in the water if you leave the VDC engaged.

The fun is in driving the G tomorrow, instead of the rental.
