if you want the key to start the car then dealership is the only route. if you just need a key to open the doors and trunk then anywhere.

one idea is ebay the key, get it cut at lowes or something and get it programed.

You need a key with the transponder. Then you need it programmed from either a locksmith or dealer. And then cut. Bring all your keys/remotes to the locksmith or dealer to get reprogrammed. I bought an ebay key and remotes and had the dealer do it.

just buy another remote on ebay and assign it to the car. THere's a procedure someone linked on here how to program more remotes to your care. I have 3!

ebay the key and take it to a locksmith... I know my stealership wanted $149 to program a new key... I wasn't down with that so a locksmith did it for less than half. The process to program remotes is incredibly easy to do yourself so I wouldn't pay anything. ebay usually has a ton of our remotes.

You mean purchase and program? If yes, then that's about right.

Buying a transponder key on ebay and having the dealer cut/reprogram the key and the fobs cost about $60 for all.

Where do u live? I live in CA I ordered the key from ebay about $20 and got it programed for $40. dealer wanted like $200 for key and progamming. I might be able to find a cheap place, what is the zip code there?
