That sucks, sorry to hear that. That same storm dropped about 6-8 inches of snow up here on Sunday.
They'll probably offer you about $12K for it, but do some research on comparable cars for sale, and use Kelly Blue Book, NADA Guides, Edmunds.com, or any other used car pricing site to get a good picture of what it's worth. Use the Trade In values, because that's what they're going to pay on. KBB is almost always too low, but they might use that figure. Many banks use NADA Guides for financing, and they show your car about $1500 higher than KBB. If you have receipts for the audio, and aren't planning on keeping it, then they might pay you for that too.
I've always been able to get a higher payout on a totaled car than was originally offered. My best guess is you should be able to get about $14K for it.
Good luck.

checked those websites out, not sure if they cover aftermarket parts which was why i grabbed my amps at least. First claim (not wreck, unfortunately) do they usually allow you to part out?? BC i would be completely down.
for the part out, you would have to buy the car back then part it out to try and recoupe your money. just take the money. parting a car out is a PITA. so many parts wanted all over the county to ship and then what do you do when whats left no one wants? either leave it sit somewhere or have to tow it to the scrap yard.
bummer...glad you're OK.
my car is still in the garage from all that crap that came through over the weekend, and the hail from last night...
I wouldn't bother with the part out, if you can go a get a few things before the insurance appraises it then do that.
