I bought my car at Carmax on Sunday. Tonight I noticed that the G35 logo on the back bumper was a little off. So I called them and they notified me that they painted the front and rear bumpers. I looked more closely and now I wonder if the paint doesn't match or if my eyes are playing tricks on me.

I am going back to Carmax tomorrow to have them look at the paint. They told met that they repaint 90% of the car bumpers that they get in.

Anyway, take a look and let me know what you think...

It looks like it's off but it could be the shadown in the building take a pic outside then u should be able to tell...tc

 

The paint is way off, you can tell by the back bumper lines, its a total different shade.

 

Did they use white-out on that rear bumper?

IP is a very hard color to match, they'll probably have to blend it into the rear quarters.

 

Looks like they went to light on the base coat. That is definately off.
