Re: Pic of Sedan with 350 Z RS*R springs :)

Gsedan35s research was instrumental in the RS*R decision. There is only one coil dedicated to progression with RS*Rs and the increased rear spring load bias makes the need for an aftermarket rear sway bar obsolete.

Re: Pic of Sedan with 350 Z RS*R springs :)

this was the path i was goign to take as well, just with the 350z struts and shocks. the drop for me was a tad too low and i didnt want to deal with the uneven tire wear that is sure to be an issue. i had that with my prelude, and driving is scary when you keep thinking about your tires exploding.

Re: Pic of Sedan with 350 Z RS*R springs :)

Damm i want your drop Gmonster, I shouldve went witth those springs. When im driving my car looks great, front way lower than rear but as soon as someone gets in my back seat the rear becomes lower than front and when its just sitting still parked the front has more gap than the rear Man I might have to get these RSR springs. I also want something a lot sportier than my B+G springs although these are pretty good springs. Gsedan should've listened to you to go with springs meant for the 350z for performance I wanted, these are a big step up from stock but not that true sports car handling yet for the sedan.

We'll see if uneven tire wear becomes predominant. I'll report back before the 225/50/17 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s go on.

So am I seeing it right, the front of the car is in fact lower than the rear? If so, that's the very look i want.

I'll post my road to fender heights in a few days after everything settles. Technically, the drop is .6" all around on a Z.

Followup of fender height measurements.

26.5" all around measured on level ground through the center of the wheel hub to the center fender. No uneven tire wear noted or visual camber maladies.

FWIW, I just redid the front spring assemblies to check the seals on my stock sport struts. There is absolutely no evidence of seal rupture or impending failure. They're still right as rain. Had an hour to kill.

Will Tein S.Tech's for a 350z fit on a G35 Coupe? How much were the RS*R's?

Did you check alignment after the drop?
Curious as to what your neg. camber is.

Yes, they will fit. The RS*Rs were $185 shipped from gruppe-s on special.

No, I am going to burn the stock tires as is before I go 215/50 or 225/50/17. The angle is barely visable as being more neg particularly in the rear, but it doesn't look too bad. The car handles like a dream with the extra neg camber so I am counting it as an asset as of yet. No maladies or abnormal wear as of yet with 42 psi all around.

Re: Pic of Sedan with 350 Z RS*R springs :)

Anyone have Shock recommendations for the RS*R springs since I do not have the sport suspension already?

G_Monster, did you have to get a camper kit for the RS*R's?

Re: Pic of Sedan with 350 Z RS*R springs :)

You can get Koni Sports, or wait a bit more for Tokico D-spec shocks to be out. Tokico says that the will only offer the shocks with lowering springs, though their supposed to offer just the shocks latter on, I keep hearing two different stories however.
