First car...say it loud, say it proud!

'74 Gremlin - learned to drive on it. Nice 258ci straight 6.
'80 Jeep CJ5 - technically the first car I owned, but it sucked mightily in every conceivable manner except summer driving below 35 mph.
'82 Accord "Coupe", I mean Hatchback - first car I owned for more than 3 months.
...
'05 G35x - car #7, if you don't count the lease and the 2 that were given to me.

Man do I feel old - gut the memories - uhh, what I do recall -
First - 1972 - 1965 Impala 2dr fastback - then -
1973 - 1969 Roadrunner ($600 oh, but it had a small dent in it) and it topped out at 98mph because of the rear end gearing, but I could drop it into 3rd at 60mph and spin the tires. It was fun to do go under bridges and do this - oh the sound!
1965 Mustang fastback 2+2
etc. - If I had kept some of my cars I could retire rich - hindsight is 20/20, the early 70's were great for teenagers - cheap muscle cars, 29-50 cent gas, etc. There was a gas station near my parents house that had very, very nice looking girls in mini (micro) skirts pumping gas.
