First car...say it loud, say it proud!

Alright, I have been reading alot of the threads/posts and it appears that many of the G drivers in this forum are around the age of 17-18 and still in high school...it took me on a trip down memory lane as to what my first car was...and it wasn't a G, or anything even close...it was a 1989 Chevy Cavalier! The trip that took me to owning my G35 was a long one!

So...my question to you...what was your first car???

1995 - Saturn SL2. After 3 transmissions I left it for a '95 VW Jetta that got lost to an illegal left hand turn. (Her fault not mine)

Then I bought my G. And I dont think i will ever look back.

The first car I ever got to use for that I didn't own was the 'rents 1996 Grand Caravan. I drove that thing into the ground.

I had a Mk2 Ford escort... It was a death trap as the anti-roll bars had rusted entirely away!

My first car was a 95 Integra GSR 4 dr.180k on it Purple. Loved it, thought it was the fastest thing in the world. Went on to 2 more GSR's, a 95 honda accord which had drum brakes and was slow as hell but i got like 40 mpgs on the damn thing. Bought a 98 Eclipse GST slammed on Evo Enkei wheels. Had a 92 Teg with no power steering, and no speedometer. Fun Bought a 99 TL with 200k on it and loved it but needed more power. So i bought a 05 Garnet Fire 6MT Sedan..... Previous cars were 3 and 4k junkers. The G is my first real investment and Im never looking back.

1986 Honda Accord LXi hatch 5MT. This was back in 1989. I had one of the best cars at school (~1800 students) and it was one of the fastest (high 16 second 1/4 mile). That just shows you how far things have come in 20 years. I'll tell you guys one thing, my kids won't have a car like G for their first ride. It's too fast and they can get in over their heads very quickly. Kids parents are insane for giving their teenagers, especially sons, cars that are capable of mid 14 second and lower 1/4 miles. Dangerous.

G is my second, first was a 2001 Cadillac Catera. It was a fun car but there were no modding options for it. Which in reality probably led me to save money and get the G since I had nothing to spend cash on.

I learned to drive on a 2001 Lincoln Continental and an 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora. Cool cars but the front wheel drive had way to much torque steer. Oh and a 1998 Chevy Astro, which is still kickin it.

I'm 18 by the way.
