On my 2nd CD Player

Is anyone else having problems with their Head unit/CD Player crapping out? My first one was replaced back in Feb. with 6 CD's jammed in it...I still have yet to see my CD's which were supposed to be shipped to me...here it is July and I havent seen them yet. Now my second CD Player is acting up I cant even load a cd in the #3 slot.....
Any suggestions???

imagman... are you using CDs with labels on them or CD-Rs? i've read about some owners having problems with them jamming the CD player. in the "technical and modifications" forum, there are quite a few posts about this. if you still can't find your answer, try PMing ryoken, as he has had his unit replaced 3 times (i think). good luck.

Re: On my 2nd CD Player

All the CD's were store bought music....none with labels or RW/ CD's. I called Infiniti consumer services....They said they would cut me a check up to $15 per CD....just have to go buy 6 new cds and fax them a copy of the receipt. Only problem is that some of my cds were part of box sets that cost a lot more then $15.

Re: On my 2nd CD Player

I realize it too late for you to try this:
When I got the dreaded CD ERROR F0, I had 1 week before
the new one arrived. I kept fu*kin with the eject button and
I was able to extract all 6 CDs. The damn player would occasionally "forget" it was screwed up.

imagman... eek. so basically, they're saying you will never see your CDs again and some technician or trash can is probably enjoying them right now. that stinks. it worries me because i also have CDs that were hard to find and won't be easily replaced. good luck.

Re: On my 2nd CD Player

Sorry to hear of your problems with your CD unit. Makes me feel that I should use CDR's only so that I won't end up losing my original CD's...
