You don't need the AWD in Arizona, that's for sure.

The 06 is newer and technically faster. Go for it.

Just curious, what makes it technically faster?

At least you know the maintenance history on your dad's car... Maintenance history and previous usage are two of the most important considerations when buying a used car.

Go for it man. You're young, dont need awd in arizona, and 6mt is a LOT more fun to drive

6mt for sure.

AWD is alot heavier too so you gotta take that into consideration when judging which car is faster. The 6mt coupe will be faster then the 5at AWD sedan. It will be alot more fun too especially out in AZ.

well, you also have to think about how long you plan on keeping the car, and how long you'll be AZ. if you'll only be in AZ for another year or two and plan on keeping the car for 10 years, then you might want to consider keeping the AWD (provided that you live in area that gets snow annually)
