Is there a setting for..

Is there a setting on our car we can set where when we walk away from our car after a certain time like 30 seconds or a min and we forget to lock it that it auto locks. That would be really cool on account of sometimes i forget to lock my car and it so happens the two times i forgot to lock my car everything was gone inside when i got back to it at the end of the day.

I doubt it, I've never heard of a car doing that, could be safety issues when leaving people in the car while you run into 7-11 for that big bite and a slurpee

besides, that theft should be enough to remind you each time. I lock my car every time, it just becomes second nature.

for a g35 never heard of it but it is possible with some module. i have a viper remote starter and it comes standard with that feature, maybe you should get one of those.
my old lexus also came with that feature from the factory. comes in handy.

If you remotely unlock your g35 (well... mine at least) the doors will automatically lock if you don't open them in a certain fine frame. That makes me think you can get an after market system to force it.

ive had my G35 auto lock on me. I cant remember how I unlocked it in the first place, keyfob, intellikey button on the door or the unlock button inside the car. Im pretty sure I used the unlock button inside the car since I needed to get something out of the back seat. Came back 5 mins later and it was locked and I know I didnt lock it on my own.

I swear I have had this happen to me to. Even when i was close to the car it locked on its own. It happens every once in a while. Since it happens I figured there is something you can set or change or something to make it do this every time. Also someone with an 06 coupe told me there car has auto locked a few times before

The same thing has happen to me, and I do not remember whether or not I use the key fob prior to it locking itself.

if you unlock your vehicle, but do not open the drivers door, the vehicle will lock itself after a certain amount of time
