Talking

My '06 with Eibach Prokit springs (1.1" drop all-round) and Hotchkis sways... (don't mind my 17" winter rims)

The ride's a little rougher than the stock sport setup, but holy CRAP does she handle now!

kyemaul: once you are lowered your stock suspension will wear out quicker because the spring rate is different (if im correct)

Cody: i think its 2 1/2 before you start rubbing.. trying to remember how low i was before touching my fender..

Your shocks might or might not last long, you can never tell some people ran 50k with springs on and it held up some only 10k and it started to leak.

It depends on preference, if you are meticulous about how low you want your car, get coilovers for the adjust-ability. Which will save you money from buying multiple sets of springs.

If not so much, than get springs since it's a DD.

Or you could go with the G/Z combo or full Z suspension.

Depending on which shocks/springs you get coilovers will only be a few hundred dollars more and will offer you full adjustability. There are a few good coilover options around $1K (BC Racing, F&F, etc.). I had Eibach Springs/Tokicko D-Specs, should have just gone coilovers from the beginning.
