These seems to be the reasonable place to ask, my question is WHAT is the weight difference from stock hood as opposed to polyurethane or cf hood and trunk? Im looking to reduce the weight without gutting the interior.. Guys know of the weight difference?

Our hood is aluminum. You'll save like 4 lbs if you get a carbon fiber hood. NOT worth the $700

The trunk can be gutted, just pull all stuff that makes it pretty. But you won't save much there.

The bodies of these cars are light, it's the interiors that are heavy. Gut you back seat (if you don't use it) and get racing seats up front. That will cut about 100-150 lbs depends on the racing seats. If you don't care about your center console rip that out. pull the carpet up and rip out all the insulating/noise dampening underneath it. etc etc.

Remember to take your spare out and replace with a bottle of tire filler junk. That'll save you 40-60 lbs depending on your spare.

Upgrade the battery to an optima. That should cut you about 25lbs.

Get out of the car and leave it on autopilot, that should save you well over 150lbs

Considering how much real cf costs and how much cf hoods usually cost, it's obvious those things aren't real cf, or are just made thinner than the aluminum hoods. If they actually made the things as thick and heavy duty as a stock hood, then yes, I can see the two weighing the same. But until then, I'm still willing to bet that the cf hood is going to be lighter.
