I like the new sound it produces. The Z-Tube was first for me, and it really added a growl, almost a howl. Then the spacer deepened the whole sound a little bit, but also broadened it, especially above 3500 RPM. And the fact that 3500-6500 happened more quickly also changed the sound. The Rev-up airbox was a nice complement to both, adding a slight mid-level note to the orchestra with it's breathy sound. You also get a hint of that sucking noise Max Rockatanksy's big blowers made in The Road Warrior. Just a hint.

When my salesman and I were talking about options I wanted on the car, AWD was first, but Premium was no less important at #2. I love the I-key.

Ok, i have been told the rev-up will make my car sligtly quicker over the PC so idk.

And yea, next time around im buying every option lol... My cars only option is a sunroof. Which kinda blows, but w/e. Its still pretty nice.

Im in the process of SUV shopping, and it needs leather and a sunroof + the bose radio haha

I hadn't heard that about the Rev-up. It's theoretically possible that it adds something power-wise, but nobody's measured it, and if they did it would be minimal (1 HP tops is my guess), not anything you'd even notice on the butt dyno. But it's probably better than the PC because of heat soak, or lack thereof.

I just read what's included with Premium, and there are things I couldn't live without, especially the tilt/zoom steering wheel and MP3 capability. Your car is actually pretty rare. They didn't make very many that didn't have Premium.

The rare comment was more that it was unusual/uncommon, I knew you didn't care about rare in its snooty connotation.

Base models are rare in general across the G lineup. If i see the rare 03 sedans with 16s and cloth seats my eyes are wide open ahahaa

OMG I have something Janik doesn't? Man your car's still one of my inspirations. I too enjoy the premium. Hard to say what's my favorite part, probably the I key, but memory seats and the power steering wheel are cool.

Janik, what brand of pop charger do you have? IDK about power, but I've got to believe w/o hearing one in person that the PC would be louder as far as intake sound. Also, it looks like the JWT version has a heat shield sealed by the hood to help cut down or eliminate heat soak. True or not?

Dual zone blows. The only dual climate zone systems worth their salt are ones with TWO different adjustment *****.

having to hit Dual repeatedly to select which side gets old fast. My passenger also gets quickly bored with it. Sometimes i would go to turn my side down a bit and find it still on "PASSENGER" so i'll cycle through and miss "DRIVER" since i'm driving and hit "BOTH" and then screw it all up. And then every time i try to teach my passenger to use it they get frustrated.

In the end, we are sitting 6 inches apart, so we just turn the **** down for both sides.

Glad they went with two adjustment ***** in the 2nd gen.

When i was shopping for my G35, i had two criteria. #1) AWD, #2) 2006 model #3) NAV

By wanting nav, i knew i'd get a premium model with all the features I wanted like I-key, zoom/tilt wheel, auto headlights, auto down windows (all 4), etc.

It was actually hard to find a Nav car. I'd go to an Infiniti dealer and they had 10 2006 model's on the lot...and only 1 would have Nav. Also, if the car had wheat interior, or wood center console, i wouldn't consider it. So basically it took 6 months to find my car once I started looking. I think the only option my car doesn't have are the chrome wheels (i'd love a set though) and mudflaps.
