Moonroof - Possible problem

Moonroof - Possible problem
Noticed the last few times when I closed my moonroof it doesn't close anymore with one touch. I have to keep pressing the close button until the moonroof closes completely. Please note I'm not referring ot the tilt function. However, the one touch works fine for opening the moonroof.
Any suggestions or advise what might be wrong. I'll have the dealership check it out during my next oil change but that probably won't be for a month. Just curious to see if this was a common problem or if there's something obvious that I might be overlooking.

Re: Moonroof - Possible problem
Never heard of this happening but apparently Infiniti thought it might and had a fix in the owner's manual. See attached.

Same problem with moonroof
Now I'm having the same problem with my moonroof in that it doesn't auto close with one touch of the button. The .jpg image(301268-Sunroof.jpg) that was attached to this thread is a dead link now. Can anyone help with providing this image? Maybe Calejohnson? Thanks...

Calm down guys, I saw this on this site a few years ago and copied it just in case. I haven't had the problem but if it helps someone else, well:
Reset Procedure for the Sunroof G35X
1. Press the switch to the CLOSE/UP side to
tilt up the sunroof.
2. Press and hold the switch to the
CLOSE/UP side for approximately 3 seconds
while the sunroof is tilted up.
3. Release the switch once, then press and
hold the switch to the CLOSE/UP side
again for approximately 10 seconds until
the sunroof moves automatically.
4. The sunroof will automatically open and
then close all the way.
If you failed at procedure 3. repeat all the
procedures from No. 1.
Good Luck, hope this works.

P.S. try the search button next time before making a new thread, it works wonders. Or there is also a little book in this thing called a glove box it tells you all about your car. TRY IT!

Hmmm, I'm kind of surprised at the number of a$$hole responses on this thread to a simple question. You guys could have helped or STFU and clicked on the next thread, yet you chose to squat and take copious dumps on a simple, yet serious request for information.
Maybe it's just a bunch of noob 2008 join date guys that are ruining the board. Grow up, children.
