Stupid Craigslist scammers...
I've been browsing craigslist Chicago for a beater car for my wife. You come across so many scam listings. Just thought this one was interesting--A '05 G35 for only $5K being sold in Chicago!! Wow! And the best part is--we have palm trees in Chicago!!

yeah, most likley that is a scam - too good to be true. although who knows where the photos were taken. just because a guy is selling a car in chicago doesn't mean the photos have to be from chicago.
Haha, I didn't see the listing (removed), but the palm tree reminded me of the 2 G35's I found on Autotrader when I was looking last year. Priced about half what it should be, with a story behind it only a moron would fall for (divorced, moved back to Scotland of all places, couldn't take car, needed to sell it). But the clincher was he said the car was in New York, and he'd had it in New Hampshire, but the picture he sent was SoCal all the way. Palm trees lining the street and you could see the ocean in the background! Actually, the real clincher, the one that made me report him to Autotrader, was the VIN he sent me. Ad said Sedan, VIN was for a different year Coupe. If it's too good to be true ...
