I emailed infiniti.com a few weeks ago, asking about the future availability of a G35 sedan AWD and about any other expected changes for 2004. I received the following rely:

At this time we don't have any information on a AWD version of of the Infiniti G35. Also no information is available on 2004 models or changes.

Of cause, this close to the 2004 model year they know what changes are in store, but just choose not to say. I guess its about selling the large stock of 2003s they have in inventory.

 

Exactly.. if you announce a new product too early, you'll hurt sales of the existing product/inventory. It's a simple business decision.

I would think that if Infiniti were going to put out a large SUV this fall, they would have already announced it. There's nothing in there lineup right now that such an announcement would steal sales from, and it might make some people hold off buying SUV's from other makers until theirs comes out.

I was at an Iinfiniti dealership on Saturday and one of the salesmen told me that a large SUV was in the works also.
