2005 Commerical Being shot Now!
Ifg anyone is in Miami near Brickell and 13th they are shooting the commerical for the 2005 G35 Sedan right now. Both are silver - police escort, camera sidecar you name it. One is sitting on the corner got a very good look.....

Can't do nuthin for ya in that regard -Infinitimike - how about some commentary?
First off the taillights aren't all that. Its subjective because the housing is basically the same shape. The strange thing about one of the cars being used for the shoot is that the brake lights were disconnected. They didn't illuminate when he hit the brakes. Still the LED pattern is circular as reported before. I wouldn't say they are more distinctive than the 03-04 versions though. I'm sure when the lights are on the pattern is unique. However on the 03-04 you can clearly see the tailights are distinctive on or off.
The 05 tailights seem to have a darker tint. Both of the cars had the mini "coupe" style rims 17's but they look like 16's. Whoever said that the early release pics (Infiniti/Nissan) were photoshopped, stop debating because the car looks exactly like that - sans the double spoke rims in those pictures.
Front lights are not projectors - more detailing in the light housings - again subjective. Interior is all that - I think the new interior will be well received, the front seats also appear to have more bolstering.
My brief observation is this - the cars looks more main stream now - especially with a gray exterior. I much prefer the look of my car with the factory Nismo body kit. I'm sure the added luxury is nice, but something is missing exterior wise. I wonder if there will be a kit. If not oh well. I expected to be blown away, but I wasn't. Sorry folks I don't carry a camera phone or digital camera - just the Blackberry 7230 with the requisite e-mail/phone/internet functionality that's enough for me. Besides I told you to come through and see for yourself - LOL. They were circled the block at least 5 times and had to stop shooting while an erractic storm blew through.
