Up unless I'm going fishing. Then down to put the rods through the pass-through.
Then you can catch this:

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic, we were fishing at a golf course pond and had never caught anything remotely close to this big there.
Probably the wrong forum, so mods move at will. I did drive the car to get there!!

I’m usually about purpose with most things… if there is no reason for it to be down (such as passenger(s) or needing the pass though), then I leave it up. 98% of the time its up.
Wow, im really in the minority here lol i like the look of 4 individual seats i guess haha
And for all those asking how to take the back seat out. In the middle of each side seat, under, by the carpet, there is a little white pullout/lever thing. Pull it then pull the bottom seat up. Do that on both sides and the bottom pad should just come out.
For the back part, its 2 sections. They are held down by 2 bolts per seat. Just undo the bolts, push the seat up, and it should pop out. Super easy, takes 5 mins.
And an FYI: Nothing should be forced. So if you find yourself forcing something, dont, you will end up breaking something.

Actually, I have 2 car seats back there that have cup holders so I keep it up. When it's up it leaves a nice cubby for kid's shoes, change of clothes, diapers etc........
I put it up today just to see what you guys were talking about, and although it DID seem bigger, it drove me nuts and i pulled it down at a stop light. i like 4 individual seats lol

^^Talk about **** retentive
Are you a little OC as well?
Looks like all I need are some forged rays, and we'll be twins. Put the new trunk lip and a couple of other things on this weekend.
You're dropped right? What's your set-up?

I keep it up, and i keep both rear seatbacks reclined and i've removed the rear headrests.
Nobody ever sits in my rear seat. I can't even tell you the last time i vacuumed back there.
