I love warranty

I bought my g35 sedan 2005 auto about a month ago. I had a bad wind noise coming from the rear of the car doors or windows. It ended up being the small corner rear windows they replaced the window stripping/seals. Also the front window stripping folded in and got all goofy looking. those were replaced and they raised up my headlights. also did the tsb for the rear door rattle and that was all fixed. Wow I am really impressed with this company/dealer. No questions asked and fixed in two days. I'm am liking this car more and more. And they treat the customer very well. Does anyone know if the dealer will advance my timing two degrees? does this cost anything, is this an option or something? I can do it my self with my timing light but if they well do it then ill let them. please guys let me know thanks.

Yeah, I've come to realize that there are some really good people working for Infiniti, at least when it comes to them dealing with me. Other customers might be huge dicks so the employees might not go as far out of their way for them.

About the timing, hell, it never hurts to ask.

Warranty is nice, but what's nicer is never having to use it. I've had to use mine twice already, but at least the girl at the counter is cute as hell and they give you nice loaners

This may be a dumb question, but do they charge you for the loaners? I'm taking my car in later this week for some warranty work and will need a loaner since I live out of town.

Nope, you just need to return it with the same amount of gas you got it with and obviously don't crash it or damage anything.

I got a fully loaded 08 EX35 and 08 G35x. The technology is awesome. I loved the lane departure warning system

Nice. I hope they hook me up with a newer G35/G37. I've never driven one.

So that's why you keep intentionally breaking stuff!

One very nice thing about the warranty is the peace of mind it gives you. If I never have a warranty repair, it will still have been worth the cost.

Warren Henry Infiniti charges $5 per day for their loaners. First time i got a nice 08 G35 Journey, but the last time was a dinged up dirty 2007 G35 with 22k miles. I got to keep that one for a week.

Just wanted to follow up on my recent warranty experience. Took my car in last Friday to have some work done. Dealership gave me an '08 G35 to drive over the weekend while they fixed my creaking compression rods, creaking rear windows, and peeling Homelink mirror buttons. They did the first two according to the TSB's, but ended up ordering a brand new Homelink mirror for the third. I told them they just needed to replace the buttons, but they insisted on installing the whole thing. Seems like a waste, but doesn't really bother me. The new compression rods and window regulator bolts made a huge difference and make the car feel like new. They also did a standard maintenance inspection and everything checked out OK. Overall I'm very satisfied and it's a huge step up from the incompetent morons that worked at my local Ford dealership.

damn it...maybe i should have gone to an Infiniti Dealership when i had some work done 2 months ago. went to a Nissan dealership instead and got an 08 2.5S Altima, not even the 3.5. What a weak car that thing is.

On a good note, after driving the slow Altima for a while and getting used to the speed..getting back in my G felt awesome again

I'd love to get a G37 coupe as a loaner tho...that thing is a ****ing beauty and a beast

Yeah, I think if you go to an Infiniti dealership they try to give you the same model as the one you are dropping off. Mine was a stripped down G35, but it was still pretty nice. The lady before me got a G35S. I'm not really sure what that package is, but I'm guessing it has more options than the base model. I enjoyed driving the new one, but I was happy to get mine back.

My friend dropped off his S60R and the only loaner they had left was a smart fortwo, haha. I actually wouldn't mind cruising one of those for a day or two just as a joke.
