only problems i would say is there is no cure for the modding addiction. 20k does sound steep, i got mine for 16K with 24,500 miles and that was one year ago

yeah...i think it is because its an 05? i dont know...i can look around some more, but i was kinda worrisome with getting higher than 40,000 to 50,000 miles on it. If you think its ok to get 50 or even 60 thousand miles then i can get a cheaper one and save some money

Broaden your search a little bit. How many miles away are you looking? I'd set it to infinity for now so you can see what's out there. It may be that something is just over your miles away horizon. A car may seem far away, but it's worth travelling to get the right one. The trip will be a hassle, but that memory will fade. But if you get the wrong car because it was closer, you'll regret it every time you see your car.

Check craigslist and used dealerships around you, if you wanna save chunks of money then u can get an 03-04 and for less then 2000$ make it look like an 05 or better, with a bodykit, or painted bottom 05-06 tail lights, carbon fiber interior trim, to cover up the plastic on the 03 interior, and is lighter, hope that helps

Another thing I did was go the dealer's website if I found a car on Autotrader that was close to me but maybe not exactly what I wanted or too much money. I found several potential cars at dealer's sites that weren't listed on Autotrader or Cars.com. Gotta use every resource when looking for a car.

And one other great way to buy a car is go talk to a local dealer about buying one from an Infiniti-only auction. This is what I did and I definitely recommend it. You'll talk to a salesman about what you want, and he'll get a list every week or so of the cars that will be at the auction. He'll then narrow down the list based on your criteria and tell you about them. Color, options, mileage, etc. When I did it like this, I then told him which ones I was interested in, and how much I'd be willing to pay for it. Based on that, he and his auction buyer knew how much they could bid on a particular car. I ended up getting exactly what I wanted.

If none of the cars on the list work for you, you'll get a new list the next week. But, if you say OK to a car, they'll go and try to buy it. You're more or less entering into a contract to buy it, but it will be what you want for the money you want to spend. And the cars from an Infiniti-only auction are not only the cream of the crop, they are guaranteed by Infiniti to qualify for Certified Pre-owned status. You don't have to get it as a CPO, but you know the quality is there. And it's actually a great way for a dealer to make a sale. They don't have to go out on a limb to buy the car and have it sit on the lot hoping for a buyer. This also allows them to sell it for less than an equivalent car that's on the lot.

Yeah, it sounds like a pain in the ****, but it's worth it.
