Looks very nice. I would only suggest perforated steel finished in a matte or semi-matte black. The perf. will “hide” better than silver so it doesn’t detract from the shape and depth of the bumper openings. It will also help conceal any busy stuff happening behind the bumper unless your goal is to show off such things as the intercooler.

Wow zimbo see? Looks totally different and 100x better without the mesh screen!! Now it looks sick, the mesh should be easily taken out rite> And witht he sides painted it looks crazy, but is the front that much lower than the side skirts?

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I removed the side skirts and took them to the paint shop. In the meantime, I painted the grills black. Here's what it looks like so far.

The wheels, since someone asked, are 18x8 +35 and 18x9 +48. I think that's it anyway--it's been so long since I ordered them I've forgotten.

Martin, yes the front is about an inch lower than it was before (so I'm sure I'll crunch the bottom of the bumper in a matter of days)--but I don't really notice it compared to the side sills.

Oh yeah, if you look closely you can see the intercooler in the lower grill and the methanol injection bottle in the upper grill.

Wow looks good blacked out and how you can see the intercooler.. Now that i think about it I would have left the upper grille part silver maybe because you could see the bottle through it?!?! I dunno but dont care, the bumper is sick and your car looks great. Cant wait to see everything finished.

I like the Aero package much more.

Martin, I thought that as well--and in fact I left the top grill silver at first but it looked funny. I'm going to paint the bottle black.

TwiBlueG35, yeah the Aero package looks great but the irony of it is that it does let any air (should be called non-Aero) into the front where my intercooler is.

LOL zimbo that's pretty true, it totally block my CAI which sits behind the left fender also, non aero lol.. Yea, if you paint the bottle black it would look perfect!!

Glad you took our suggestions. Car looks really nice now. Have you considered just getting the NISMO skirt instead of the Impul rear? Same thing goes for the sides?

Steve, that bumper rocks, it's very aggresive, but the car still looks classy. I like the painted mesh much better also. Good Call Martin.
