No offense to anyone who has wood, but I think the "woodgrain" trim in the 05-06 models looks horrible. It looks like a cheap stick on, not something I would expect in an Infiniti.

I think wood done correctly looks classy and sweet!! Just not on our cars.

Janik, I guess that's where we will never be true twins!!

I thought I'd seen in a pic thread somewhere you had wood. Whew, I can breathe a sigh of relief!! Sorry to freak you out.

Sorry to thread jack, but what difference do you see in adding the coupe middie to the HKS as opposed to going with the stock mid and HKS? I'm getting impatient waiting for the VQ dual tip and might go with exhaust soon.

Of course. My SN has really 2 meanings. I've always wanted a blue G35, and my favorite Satrini album is 'Flying in a Blue Dream'.

That's what I feel like hauling azz in the G

Nice. I love that album too. Every time i've gone to see Satch in person, he opens up his set with "Flying in a Blue Dream"

I might be willing to swap. I like the wood trim (when done right of course). How easy is it to swap them?

I'm about to pull the trigger on that exact combo if the VQ dual tip isn't ready in a couple of weeks. Exhaust is the last mod I will do before an Osiris dyno tune, and I like that the VQ shows a significant HP increase with the tune. Not sure if I'll get that with the HKS/coupe mid, hence the hesitation. I do have the HR y pipe, so I'd have a crazy exhaust with the coupe/HKS.

if the years match, it should be complete plug and play, for me you will have to have a 2005 model. because the trims are diffrent on 03-04 so that only leaves 05-06 and the 06 navi unit runs a 7.x series system so i dont know how that works.

2005 is the only year. hit me up with a PM if your interested.
