Supercharged Sedan Owners

Attn: Supercharged sedan owners

What make and model efan have you installed? Did you use the oem thermo? Do you have fans running when engine is running. Did you install a turbo timer? Please help, I need to get this part on order quick.

Thanks in advance...

Re: Supercharged Sedan Owners

This might be better asked in the Forced Induction section, should get more replies. Actually, if you do a search I'm sure you'll come up with lots of reading.

Re: Supercharged Sedan Owners

Thanks Bobby, it's there too. I double posted. I'm going with the Flex-a-lite 220 puller w/o a thermostat unless someone tells me other wise.

Where are all the 03 supercharged sedan guys???? What did they do???

Re: Supercharged Sedan Owners

As far as I know there aren't ANY supercharged 03 sedan guys--at least none that post to this forum. I have the Vortech on my 04; Gurgen has the PE TT on his 03. Are there even any other sedan owners on the board with forced induction?

Re: Supercharged Sedan Owners

Well I will add to the list later this week or early next week. Brent, what pulley are you using in your wife's setup? How much time did you spend tuning? Do you feel you can extract more power? Is 342hp dynojet numbers or mustang?

Re: Supercharged Sedan Owners

i hear the sedan only puts out 200 rwhp stock, so figure on about 215 with the blower and 312 pull....

Re: Supercharged Sedan Owners

Why do you need a Turbo timer for a supercharger? They simply stop when the engine stops, wereas, the turbo needs oil after the engine stops, since it keeps turning?????

Re: Supercharged Sedan Owners

I've got a 2003.5 G35 Sedan AT with the Stillen Stage 2 SC.

As far as I know, they didn't need to change the fan. I've never looked at another SC'd G35, but I'm guess it's because Stillen plops the SC on top requiring a new hood while others squish into the front?

There is no turbo timer. I'm not sure what they changed with the SC kit with regard to the 'thermo' , and the fans up front are running when the car first starts up. I have no idea if that was how it worked stock, but when I look into the engine, there's all kinds of airflow coming up from the front.

Sorry, I don't know much about the inner workings, which is why I got the Stillen and had the Stillen guys do it all.

Re: Supercharged Sedan Owners

I saw a sedan at the Raleigh dealership when I had my sedan in and I noticed it had a body kit I've never seen. The service manager mentioned the guy had a supercharger in it too, and that it had ungodly horsepower.

Re: Supercharged Sedan Owners

Jim, was this the car?

My car has been at the dealership the last couple of days. The spiral cord inside my steering wheel broke (somehow) so nothing on the steering wheel worked--no horn, no airbag, no radio controls, no cruise--and I was in having it replaced (under warranty, fortunately).

Re: Supercharged Sedan Owners

That's it!

So, what are we calling "ungodly horsepower" these days?

Re: Supercharged Sedan Owners

My first dyno showed 217 rwhp. With the supercharger and all other mods, I'm currently at 385 rwhp. Too bad it's not enough
