Sorry if this question has been answered before, but I couldn't find it. Can 2nd gen (2007) sedan brakes be fitted onto a 1st gen? Or better yet... can a BBK made for 1st gen sedans/coupes be used on a 2nd gen sedan? Not trying to use any special adapters, just a straight swap. Thanks in advance

 

It's not a straight swap. You'll need special brackets made for whichever way you go. Remember, the Akebono BBK requires special brackets to go onto a 1st Gen G35. So, it would also be required for the opposite.
