Pop Charger Question
I know what u guys r expecting, but before u tell me "
" hear me out. I was involved in an accident in my G
and the plump little man from Allstate informed me that he would have someone replace (among other things) my stock Air Cleaner Assy. (Part # 16500AM604) and that would be costing (the other party) about $300. Now I know that the pop charger goes for less than $300 and I have a Z tube, so my question is this: if I were to order a pop-charger, could I discard my entire air cleaner assy.? Are there parts that I would still need?
Thanks, guys, this forum is an invaluable asset to ppl like me

If you have a Z tube you don't need 12. You need 11. 10, 9, 8, I don't even remember taking it out, so I'll say you don't need that (but not 100% on that one). 7, the Stillen kit uses that to route cool air to the intake. 6, 5, 4, you don't need it. 3, 2 don't know what those are. For some reason, I think you reuse 13, but too lazy to walk to my car. Hope that helps.
So I've called the body shop that has my car and they're basically giving the the $300 that the insurance company gave them to buy the stock assy.
I'm planning on pocketing at least $150 of that
thx, guys
