wear your seatbelts

So there was a bad storm here in the northeast about a month ago that produced a rare tornado and I ended up hydroplaning into a tree around a curve.

Luckily I was wearing my seatbelt and I was fine, minus some bad seatbelt bruises.

Insurance took care of me, and while I was going and retreiving my belonging, the only things that I could salvage were my Ztube and floormats.

After considering some different cars, i couldnt leave Infiniti, and took home a 2006 lakeshore slate AWD. I liked my OB, but it kinda blended in. I just took it home two days ago and it really stands out, and I have gotten alot of compliments on the color...

Put the tube on last night, and falling in love all over again...

will post pics soon

Def wear the seatbelt. I do it all the time. After a while you don't even realize it's on so i don't see what the big deal is

glad to know that you're alright bro. I've never been in an accident and I pray that I never do, but I always wear my seat belt. It sounds corny but part of having fun is ensuring that you can continue having fun no matter what happens. You can't have much fun when you're paralyzed or dead.

I can't get into a car without putting a seat belt on. Probably the best habit you can have.

glad you are okay, looking forward to seeing the pics. did the tornando have anything to do with your wreck, or was it the slick roads from the rain?

ccc123pm, reading over your signature, it says that your 05 G35x died 6/20/06

It's not corny at all. I did a bit of mountaineering when I lived out west, and I've read quite a bit about high altitude climbing. A very common mantra is "Getting up is optional, getting down is mandatory." Same concept with the seat belt. I always wear my seat belt and always wear a helmet when riding.
