They Effd My Sedan!!!!!

Sorry guys but I have to vent. I went to the car wash today to give my baby a bath and left with horrible taste in my mouth. Just 3 days ago I went to Zeibart to have them put on a diamond gloss finish for my paint. I know the owner so he did it dirt cheap for me. I purchased my g35x 05 sedan this past feb. and going in I knew it needed some exterior work. (which I was cool with) There were a lot of scratches on the car when I bought it and for any1 that owns a black G, you know black shows everything. So now I have the money and I speak to my friend/owner of Zeibart about these scratches. He promises me he can get all of them out, plus make the paint look like new again. Which he did! So my car is a little dirty and I take it to the toucheless car wash I have been going to for years. I send my car thru and after its finished I dry it off in one of the bays. As I am drying off the car I notice little white dots all over my car, specifically where my trunk and spoiler is. Mind you, 3 days ago I got the diamond gloss finish and the car looked brand new...So I am trying to figure out where these dots are coming from. So I take it to my buddy and ask him and he tells me its paint!!! White paint on my black G!!! WTF!?!?!?!? He asked me if anyone is painting anything in my neighborhood that wind may have blown paint on my car. No there isn't plus i keeps in the garage. I told him i just left the car wash and he asked if there was any1 painting around there. I said no not to my knowledge. So I go back to the car wash and look around and there is an old house next to the wash that looks like its been recently painted possibly. White paint even. IT looks like just a real estate flip for someone looking to make money but no one was there. So I call the number at the car wash regarding this and the owner of the car wash was a straight up bitch!!! He was no help at all and said it was impossible for any paint to get on my car. This reasoning sound logical but literally my car was in pristine condition b4 taking it to this wash. He even went as far to say I probably ran over a cone in the road where they were painting white lines on the road and thats where it came from!! Sorry guys but I am little bit better of a driver than that. And I think I would remember that. The guy basically told me to eff off!!! In those words. If i wasn't on the phone with this dude I would have literally broke his effin jaw from being a smart ***. So now I am stuck with this!!!!!!!!

Hit the detailing section and see if the pros there have some advice for you.

I talked to my buddy at Zeibart and he said he could get it off with a clay bar and he won't charge me he said. If I had to pay to get this fixed he said it would be like 400-500 bucks. But just the principal of it somebody should have to pay just not me!! I liked to blame the car wash owner just cause he was such a douche bag, but there would be prolly no way for me to prove his car wash did that to my car.

Too bad. Especially right after you got your car detailed. A claybar is what I would try first. Hopefully it will come off. But depending on what bar he uses, you will see very fine scratches from that. One of the pics looks like you already have a bunch of scratches so I dunno.

But you shouldn't really be using a car wash anyway. Hand wash always from now on.

Yea thats whats I normally do is hand wash. But i was in a hurry and i figured a "touchless wash" would be ok. Never again..................

If you have already had it fixed (which you probably have) ask some neighbors if they know who painted the house next door because you want to get yours painted. In the conversation ask them if they know when it was done. If it coincides with the timing of your incident, get an estimate from your buddy, talk to the homeowner, realtor or whoever was responsible for having the house painted and get yourself some money. It sucks when there are reckless contractors out there that don't have enough of what God gave them to do things correctly.

Take a deep breath man. I know it sucks, but relax lol. clay bar. It'll come right off. Use a less fine claybar to get it off and then polish it back up with a PC. It'll be good as new. I've dealt with white paint on black cars before. It comes off

Most likely had nothing to do with the car wash, but that is why I never. ever. take any of my cars to a car wash. Too many things that could go wrong. Hand wash only. Even in the middle of winter!

looks like water based paint, prolly someone had painted there house or something, and wind blew, happened to my car once, my neighbor repainted his house and the painting company didn't mention it to us, my car was parked outside, they are suppose to warn us and give us the option of either parking our cars elsewhere or they can supply us some plastic wrapping to cover the cars, but they didn't, so i ended up going through icbc and they took the money out of there insurance and i had my car wet sanded and my windows had to be scrubbed with a wire brush

Ok, you guys have made me feel little better. I'm not as mad as I was but damn that's frustrating....At least I don't have to pay to get it fixed. If I did maybe a different story.

Try the clay bar (im thinking it wont work for that), but if that doesn't work Im sure a good rubbing compound would. Sucks, but im sure it can be fixed for cheap (paint doesn't stick to clear coat very well)
