H or S Tein springs

I've searched but can't find an answer. I have an 06 sedan w/o sports suspension. All the threads I found had a sports suspension. I'm not sure which springs would be best for me. I want a nice drop (atleast 1-1.5 in) but retain the best ride quality.

I would have to vote for h techs. Drop: 1.5 up front, .7 rear. Ride quality: Very close to stock.

Even though I have the H techs installed, it looks like you want a drop that's lower than what I have. Therefore I say go with the S techs. You'll need camber kits though if you go that route.

Which is why the H-techs are sick.

Great info! I did not know that! H Techs it is. I dont want to add a camber kit. So I'd get H Tech's installed, wait a week or 2 for an alignment & done, right?

i've had the HTechs. they just didn't drop the ride enough for me. w/ the Htechs you're gonna run a -1.2 to -1.3 camber. eh, no need for camber kits.

as comparo, i now have coilovers and am dropped fairly low; neg camber is -2 front and back. still no camber kit lol

Lower is better

Yes, wait a week or two before getting an alignment to allow the springs to settle...unless you are buying a used set.

I saw your pics & your car looks as low as I want mine. But you have a sports suspension, right? So since I don't have a sports suspension, does that mean my car wouldn't sit that low?

as far as i know, springs dictate how low you go, not the struts. so, regardless of if you have the sport suspension or not, if you put in S or H techs, you will go as low as the Teins will let you go. make sense?

When using the Tein S or H on the non-sport sedan, is there a need to change the shock/struts due to travel? I would hate for the valve body to bottom out. Anyone got any experience with that?

Anyone confirm this?

"With the S you wouldn't have to get a camber kit but it is recommended for best performance. You could most likely just take it and have it aligned and it would be fine though."
