I have a 05 sedan with 235/45/18s all around. I am planning on getting new tires and was wondering if i can do just fine with no problems using 245/45/18s all around?...and what if i get a mild 1" drop later on? Will there be any rubbing?..Thanks in advance!

I have an 06 sedan. I went with 235/45/18's because I want to drop it. My tire guy said 245/45/18's would rub if I drop it.

I'm running 245/45/18 all around now, no drop People say it's a good idea to get the fenders rolled for any drop, it's a good safe approach to rule out the possibility of anything happening under heavier than expected load.

1" drop you won't need to roll your fenders. Even when running 245.

That's the limit though.

OP, the 245/45 is only 5mm wider to the outside than your stock 235/45's, and about 9mm taller when new. If you've got 5mm extra space before you would hit the fender, you won't need to roll them, even with a drop.
