Wink New Member + new G 05

Hey guys how ya Doin...

Well am a new member..i jus got ma 1st G which is also ma 1st car and also ma 20th b-day gift to me

am about to change the rims but am not sure which design..am stuck between 2
matte black with a chrome lip
or
polished silver
( 18" )

your suggestions are much appreciated... plus if u guys got any tips or advice regarding maintenance or any changes i should make plz let me know...

welcome, i think a matte black with a polished lip would look good on your car. As for mainteance just follow with the owners manual.

good call on new rims, and I'd get 19s with low offsets for a super aggressive look but I think the color really depends on the style of rim. Got a specific wheel in mind?

well thx for your input..
regarding the user manual it didn't come with one...the car was recently imported from the states. and these are the rim designs..


BMW rims,





polished black rims.




by the way does the rims size effect the car?
cause someone told me that big rims are not good for the car after i said i was gonna put 19's or 20's

go with the black ones in 19s.. and no the larger rims won't be bad for the car as long as you keep the same diameter tires, although 19s and 20s tend to be heavier which could reduce your horsepower depending on how much heavier they are.. I'd look for forged wheels.

thanks for your opinion..i was so sure on the black rims but when i photoshoped the BM rims it gave it a nice luxury look which is what i wanna go for..dunno ill keep these for another week. any maintenance tips?

those look like lonestar rims. previous owner must have been from Texas....
