Yup, you got it. No joke. Saw this at Walmart today. Penzoil Platinum Fully Synthetic 5 QT oil for $20 - $15 Walmart gift card = $5. Limit 2 per household. Normally, I change my oil with Synthetic Mobil 1 ($22 at Walmart) but couldn't resist $5 for Penzoil Synthetic. I bought 2 for myself. I use Napa Gold ($6) for oil filter thus my next two oil change costs $11 bucks EACH. HURRY BEFORE SUPPLIES RUN OUT!!! Must be purchased in August and postmark by 9/15/09.

 

I love the included pictures I really should do this. I normally do the same thing you do with M1 at Walmart, but $5 for Penz is pretty hard to pass up.

I didn't pay attention to the conventional oil. $5 for synthetic. Do you really want the conventional oil for...let's say $2.50?

There was a whole pallet of Penzoil Synthetics at the Walmart that I was in today.

 

autozone has a decent deal with syn oils and filter

mobil 1 oil and mobil filter = $30

castrol syntec and k&n filter = 27

both pretty decent

 

I thought the mobil 1 oil and filter for 29.99 deal had ended a couple of weeks ago..maybe I'm wrong

 

My walmart had half of the bottles with rebate cards. Rebate specifies that you must use original form. And DO NOT BUNDLE the rebates together. Have to send them separately.

 

I read the form but didn't see anywhere that said you had to seperate and mail separately though.

Open for interpretation. I read that to mean that each submission needs to be separate. I'm a big fan of getting crazy deals with rebates. Just have to watch out for these little gottcha's.

Yea the fluid was there but not the little coupon which is worth more to me.
