My car does that once in a while. I read that if you drain and refill ATF with new fluid, that it would help. I plan on doing this within a week or two.

lol isnt VDC .. vehicle dynamic control, otherwise known as traction control ? the first gen VQ's have about a 1000 rpm (5 ticks on meter) shift lag when going at WOT. but with the right grounding kits my friends got shortened to 200 rpm shift lag at WOT which is only 1 of the little tick marks. i was suprised that grounding kit works so well.

Get a HR y-pipe. It helped my shift points dramatically. Also like others have said, shift in MM mode.

Doing the gas pedal reset procedure really helped my shift points - I drive a very short distance to work and I think it learned to drive in a granny type mode. When I did the reset the shift points were higher and crisper. Search on this site for the procedure.

Sprint booster and grounding wires.

End thread.

!= TPMS

Tire pressure monitoring system, you're low on air or you're missing your TPMS in the wheels.
