I'm convinced the air in Canada is 15% nitrous. Everything up there runs insane times
Its not really the air up there...they just calculate time in relation to the currency exchange. Makes sense, if you think about it

Could you get an early 6MT car without any options??

6MT, but cloth seats, no sunroof, basic options??

I know some of those exist in early '03, but every one i've seen has been a 5AT base model. Something tells me the 6MT brings other options along with it. That's unfortunately as it would be nice to have a lighter weight car. WOuld be even nicer if the Rev-ups could ever come packaged in a bare-bones chassis. I know they dont, but would be nice to have a no-frills car with basically an engine and a stick. Of course, if you are going to go that far, you might as well pick up a specialized project car then.

I'd prob do something crazy like buy a Miata....and swap a VQ37HR and 6-spd into it ....or an LS6

...eh I already got my project car. I don't need another

I already have a specialized project car that I'm building from scratch. Its basically a mid engined lotus 7 with a vq30de from an Infiniti I30T. Should weight about 1500lbs with no frills, cept heat and a radio.

So doing some reading if I were to by an exhaust mod which would yield the most difference:
A. Megan Racing Y-pipe (with reducer cone)
B. Coupe mid pipe (seems to be hard to find unless I'm looking in the wrong place)
C. Chop off stock muffler replace with a thruster muffler as read in a previous thread. (less back pressure in the final restriction point of the exhaust)

Believe me, I've run as fast as 99.9mph in the 1/4 and I tapped the 3rd gear limiter right at the finish.
i assume you mean with the 3.3 in the 5at. i swapped in my 350z's 3.5vlsd so im sure ill have to hit 4th before i finish.

What gear do the AWD's come with?? Ive seen some say the 3.5 and others the 3.3. Which is it??

When i ran my X, i manually shifted it myself, and crossed the traps in 3rd gear. Granted, i only trapped at 93MPH. (damn heavy pig car )
