First of all, i know there are plenty of threads about the whole Grounding kits and all this stuff about power aand such. First of all i just want to say that this isn't one of those threads!

Anyways, for the longest time since owning the car, i have noticed that i was having a lagging issue when driving in Manu-Matic mode (however you want to describe it.) I would accelerate at a normal, non-spirited speed, nothing crazy, and i would b e able to shift from 1st to 2nd no problem. But when i shifted from 2nd to 3rd, that's when the whole system would lag; I would have to repeatedly have to shift 2 to 3 times quickly just to get into 3rd gear. This issue didn't happen all the time, but when i would be driving with others in the car, they would be like, WTH? what up with your tranny? So after picking up a Grounding wire set, I was able to talk to to SxExCx and have him explain to me what to expect and then i told him my problem that i was having. he had told me that he never heard of this issue, so i had hoped that maybe his product could cure this issue. So after he installed his kit, and i left the first thing that i had noticed was the car's throttle was more responsive. There wasn't any computer lag when accelerating, the car felt as if it wasn't a digital throttle body, more like a Mechanical Linkage throttle, and then i started to manual shift my car and the Lagging issue was completely gone, i can come down in the gears like no problem, no lagging. the transmission shifts a lot crisper and smoother. So all in all, i am very impressed with the Grounding Kit, and i am giving it my stamp of approval. I f anyone else knows or has the lagging issue with the tranny, i strongly recommend picking up a set and solve this Nuisance!

I noticed a little difference, but 05s seem to shift quicker than the 04-05s anyways lol

I got them in blue... Looks good....

I also heard that the 05+ auto do shift better due to there Rev-Match...

I have also heard that from SxExCx also, but he said that this came from guys with big systems, but I don't care about that...

i just want to let you know that sean told me he secrety tighted the batter terminals while you werent looking because he said they were kinda loose so when you were shifting hard they come come loose while your car shifts directions druing the tranny engagement. You may think your grunding wires saved you, but its really our loose battery terminals.

i totally just made that up

Is a shift kit that Transgo makes for the valve body of the G transmissions. Part number RE5RO5A-HD2. It drastically improve shifting!

Thats funny because his battery terminal was totally loose. Even with the nut tightened all the way down, it would still rattle around and could pull right off.
