Speaking of the "Kompressor" line of Mercedes vehicles. Mercedes is going to stop using superchargers and will use turbos instead: <a href="http://www.autoweek.com/cat_content.mv?port_code=autoweek&cat_code=carnews &loc_code=index&content_code=02421781">Autoweek </a>

I've got nearly 20,000 miles on my 03.5 6mt and regularly get 25-26 mpg in summer, mostly highway driving at 75-80 mph.

Gzumcrow:

Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout !! These cars can get really good mileage for their size and performance level, driven and maintained properly.

Thanks for the input - my mileage seems to be getting better and better, too (8,000 miles now).

Re: Averaging 23+ MPG in 6MT SEDAN

Just got back from my second road trip and again had a steady 24.3 MPG in my 04.5 x. Not bad considering the sticker only says 24MPG!

2200 miles for a one day family reunion. AND I MISSED A GOLF TOURNEY!!! What I don't do for my g/f.

Had the cruise set on 79.5 the entire trip, A/C auto/econ mode.

For some reason, I had three different MB320's that had to be put down, all in different states. Oh, and a Riviera riding the left lane for like 30 Fn miles. I thought the truckers were going to run that SOB off the road!

And I got passed by a pair of angel eyes in Wisconsin, but it was night with lots of traffic in a construction zone with barricades and shifting lanes so I didn't see anything.
