Re: Why should I buy a G35?
You should buy a G35 (sedan or coupe) if you consider yourself to be a driving enthusiast & live somewhere without a lot of snow. Otherwise a Maxima or Altima might be better suited for your driving style.
You should buy a G35 only if you can truly afford to maintain & upkeep a luxury-brand vehicle.
You should buy a G35 if you want a vehicle that delivers European-inspired handling & performance without the European-inspired price.

Only because you want to....I know input is important but really you don't know any of us so why would you trust our opinion? Go out and drive one...if you don't want to buy one after that you never will.

Yeah, I agree with EdRedS. I test drove plenty of cars and in my opinion the G35 was the simply best. Make sure you look around first then make your decision. In my search I found that the G gives more bang-for-the-buck than the competition. Good luck.

Test drive what you want then test drive the G35. That should give you a reason to or not to buy. I bought after an extensive testing session with several vehicles:BMW,Lexus,Acura,Mercedes,Audi,JaguarNissa n,Honda,Toyota and Mitsubishi. The Infiniti G35 won. This is all subject to my wants and needs yours may be different. But try as many as you can and several times if possible with different dealerships. Some give better test drives than others.

Re: Why should I buy a G35?
I wanted something sporty and my wife wanted something in the luxery class. We tried the Acura TL, BMW 330, Lexus IS-300, and Infiniti G35. I personally found the G35 to be the best combination of performance, style, and price. Plus, I was very excited to get in on the ground floor of a brand new model. I'm also 6'4" tall and the G35 was easily the roomiest of all the models. I love the car - I see BMWs everywhere b-o-r-i-n-g. Don't get me wrong, BMW makes an excellent vehicle. I just think they're expensive and far too common to be eye catching. The Acura's styling is lack luster IMHO. The Lexus just didn't have the room inside and seemed a bit...I don't know how to put it...tinny I guess. It was a lively ride but didn't really have the vaROOOOOM of the Infiniti. I'm very happy with the purchase and recommend the G35 with no reservations.

Awesome response!
The G35 is a car that exemplifies creative design, futurisitc styling, and excellent combination of handling and power.
If you want a car that this unique, daring, sexy, functional, innovative for a very reasonable price this is vehicle to be seriously considered.
I am very satisfied G35 owner. I say with the utmost pride!!

I can't add a whole lot to the previous posts. Everyone has different needs in a car and most of us don't have an unlimited budget. For me, the G35 offered un unbeatable combination of performance, styling, interior room, value and reliability. Dealer service, at least here in Houston, has been great. Other than the well known A/C compressor issue, my G35 has been utterly bug free.
My previous experiences with bad service and indifferent reliability with German makes (namely Audi and BMW) have made me hesitant to buy another.

Re: Why should I buy a G35?
Well I really like the car!
I found one for $27,715, with NO options.
Since this is the only dealer in CO they wont give me a deal.
I want one with atleast some options, like leather or navigation and sport suspension. They want $36, 685 with those options.

Re: Why should I buy a G35?
They won't deal,.............on a sedan! Now that's just wrong. I made one phone call to the internet sales guy to a dealer in the bay area and I'm ordering a no option 6sp sedan for $27862 and that car has leather and sport suspension std.
(Notice how that price is only $800 more than a TSX's msrp).

Buy a G because you love the styling, performance, value and can't live without it.
Otherwise, Honda would love to have ANOTHER minion.
I love what Nissan/Infiniti is doing with their innovative styling and committment to performance. Go with something different, a cure for the common car.

Re: Why should I buy a G35?
There are car buying dervices on the 'net. I've not had personal experience here, but I understand that you can purchase out of state, and have the G delivered to your door for a few hundred dollars. If you can save $2K off of MSRP (and this is realistic), paying $500 or so (a guess) for delivery would be acceptable. Or another option is to find a dealer out of state, as close as possibel, do the deal with the internet salesperson and fly/drive out to get the car and drive it back. So what if it's a few hundred miles? It would be well worth it in my opinion.
