If you are gonne trade it in, take the mods off. Not going to affect what you get. You might as well put the stock stuff back in and sell what you took out. Even if you can make $100, it's gas money for the new car. Dealers aren't like private sales. Aftermarket stuff doesn't mean jack to the dealer.
If the tint is illegal, the dealer might complain. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. Had a g/f who traded her car in with $15 tint and the dealer wanted to deduct $250 to have the illegal tint removed from the trade-in. Had a shop do it for $50 instead.
Of course, it prob wouldn't hurt if you told us what the car had that's worth something to a dealer vs listing the aftermarket parts. Is the car a premium model? Does it have NAV? What sort of condition is it in? Need any body work?
The dealer is gonna go low anyway...so expect some shock. They will prob throw a number from $11-15K at you. Even if you want $15K, they will prob come up to meet you on it, but then not budge on the asking price of the car you are buying. Just one of their tricks.

hey thanks guys, i did put it through a site like kbb but more accurate i was told and it said from 14-17 depending on condition and if i get screwed or not i guess haha
as far as the mods go no of my were expensive at all..the clear corners ill take off and sell and probaly remove the front tints
i said the car was in good condition interior and exterior..no body work needed at all..it has NO navi but it is an x so all wheel drive should deffinatly get me some more cash
if anyone were to offere\ me a number like 11 or 12 k i would feel obligated to slap them in face cuz this is a 06 g35x in clean conditon still under factory warranty...comeon

Trade in price? Never enough.
I will NEVER trade a car again. I had a 2001 Chevy crew cab when I bought the G. They offered me $9800 for trade. I sold it to a private party for $14000. Nuff said.

Sell the car privately if you can. You'll get more money.

^^ Agreed with above. Even if it takes a bit longer to sell it on privately, its worth the wait. There are people who dont have sufficient credit to finances due to personal or economical reasons, so they would buy it all cash. So try that first, post on craiglist, autotrader, or wherever. Also, dont bother going to Carmax as well, they will lowball you too. Which car you trying to get?
Yeah you pretty much get screwed on trade in. I wouldn't be surprised if they tossed a $10K number out at you.
Trailblazer SS's are nice. Buddy of mine has the AWD version. Sweet truck
