One month still not coming off.
I used a bottle of goo gone and a really really rough rag...lol now that i think about the rag. Need to throw that crap away. The adhesive was hard so me and my friend switch off rubbing that crap like no tmr, i try the blowdryer to make it softer, but i realize my blowdryer's turbo button was broken so i guess it did nothing for the adhesive.
its your clear coat peeling.
or your rear bumper was repainted at some point in time.
its not going to fix on its own. never fixes on its own. live with it or get the bumper repainted and yes a bumper repaint will be 100+

Yepp, you removed the clear coat man, i think your bumper was clear coated with the emblems still on. Best thing to do is wet sand the edges, and try to blend it, be very careful though.
I asked the body shop right next to me how much it would cost. They said 150 for both damaged areas. I thought that was a little expensive, so i went to another one and they said they have to repaint the whole fender and bumper and whatever to match and that will cost 595. IM LIKE WOW. I might do the 150 or maybe cheaper.
Body work is expensive. If you ever think you are getting a good deal on body work...you really aren't.
I remember a thread a while back about someone buying a body kit and finding a shop to paint and install it for cheap...after he got it back, paint chipped off weeks later and he found most of it was installed with wood screws! I think it was linked from another board.
Needless to say, paint and bodywork is one of those things where you get what you pay for.
EDIT: was a 350Z. In all fairness, i think the kit was a cheap, ill-fitting kit too.

An old library card or credit card, etc... works better
That's what I use for tar, along with quick detailer.
I've debagged a car using WD-40 before. A friend recommend it to me and I was somewhat concerned, but it did a very good job. Never let goo gone or anything else sit on your paint though.
...also I just farted. I think there should be a thread for it.

If its not your clear coat (which i don't think the whole coat is gone) you can wet sand it down with 1500 or 2000 Grit paper. Then you can buff it out.
Better to take it to a body shop. They can do that a lot better and faster than you ever could. Experience is worth a ton.

Yeah my friend's dad is going to sand it down for 20 bucks for me. He usually charges around 100.
P.S ALSO I HAVE BIG NEWS. I found out the reason why my trunk was like this after debadging, it has been painted over by another coat of paint. I got hit in the back before and the back was scratched up, so my dad brought it to a shop for a paint job and they just painted everything, my fender and bumper. They painted over my dealership logo and my g35x emblem, thats why when i took out the emblem i could see the first coat of paint. Some sandpaper will do the trick though.

Ok, so this morning i got it sanded down a little. It looks and feels a little better, but obviously its not forever the same. They said its impossible to paint because it will like 10x worse since the layer of paint was so thin, any coat would make it stick out. It feels better and smoother when you touch it, i will post pics up when it stops raining.
like most of us said. its been hit before and its the best you can do now, less you want to paint it again. which is a stupid waste of money IMHO just for a debadge. now later on if you get into a fender bender then yea. not now tho.
