I have the coupe Brembos on my 6mt sedan. You'll obviously need aftermarket wheels or the coupe wheels in order for the Brembos to fit.

Your sedan is amazing. Couple questions. 1st where did you get your body kit? I really like your front end and i am interested in purchasing one. 2nd how much did you pay for your stock brembos? Your feeback is greatly appreciated.

Re: brembos in sedan
If you have to ask, you probably can't afford them.
hehe. I believe it is gonna be real expensive to add
the brembos.

Re: brembos in sedan
I've lost 3 ebay auctions for used Brembo brakes off the track model 350z after the auctions went greater than $2k. The non-track model 350z guys are keeping the price/demand for used Brembo brakes high. I hear it's cheaper to buy an aftermarket big brake kit than to purchase the OEM Brembos through the dealer.

Re: brembos in sedan
If you can get the Brembos for all 4 corners for around $2K+/- then that would be a good deal. Otherwise I would just get a Stoptech Front Kit, OEM Stoptech rotors and better pads for the rear, and call it a day.

You are better off going the Stoptech route. I had the chance to drive a Stoptech equipped car at a lapping day and came away thinking they were simply amazing!

I went on that route! Stop Techs, 13's kit for the front and just replaced the rear rotors/brake lines.

I take it there is still no rear big brake kit available from Stoptech?

Re: brembos in sedan
turq, to answer your questions...

Lightly used Brembos with rotors, calipers, lines, hardware, and pads are about $2000 used. The nice thing about buying used Brembos is that you can always turn around and sell them again w/o losing much money because they've held their value so well.

Stoptech has a 14" kit for all four corners but in the 13" size they have only front brakes. Fitment will be a problem on the sedan but not on a coupe. I would probably just buy a set of coupe wheels/tires for around $800 if I had it to do all over again.

The body kit is actually just the front bumper from the Impul kit. Special order from Bulletproof Automotive (takes about 2 months from Japan). I had the side sills painted and will either paint the back sills or go with the Nismo back bumper. The only reason I bought it was to give more air to the intercooler.

Re: brembos in sedan
Stop Tech recently came out with the 13's rear kit. Too lazy to place my order

Yup, just saw it on the my350z board. Stoptech does now have the 13" rear kit.

13" rear Stoptechs, cool. Now if I could just decide on some wheels.

Re: brembos in sedan
Do you track your car? How do they handle the heat? Any fade? How about pad wear. Do the rear pads still wear faster than the fronts, or do the Stoptechs somehow cure the rear bias???? I've been a regular at the shop getting my brakes replaced after a track day - its getting old. Where did you get your Stoptechs? Thanks.

Re: brembos in sedan
with the stoptechs pad changes are quick and easy, almost anybody can do it - no need to bring it somewhere
