You're still talking about ricing out a car that was once $40,000 not a $16,000 Civic.

Or are we comparing 2003-2009?

I don't care if you can get a sedan for free, it doesn't turn a ridiculously stupid idea into a good one.

not when you factor in premium, nav, aero, sport, all the accessories you can think of, and then stupid gap insurance and then their stupid shock sensitive alarm (hustled). + tax and license, it was just under 40, i remember clearly because I only have 8,000 for a car, and that went toward about 20% of the down lol.

Just because you can now buy a G35 sedan for the same amount of money as a civic, doesnt mean it should be treated like a civic.

+1

Don't ruin the car to make it "unique". The fact that the G35 has become so affordable in price means younger guys are now thinking to themselves "Hmm, $15K to spend....150HP civic? or 298HP G35?"

As a result, I see coupes with ill-fitting fiberglass body kits with chipped paint and blue LED's and 3% tint everywhere these days.
