Just got 35x!!!!!

Hello all, I just picked up my 2005 G35x!!! I almost signed a contract on a BMW, but after reveiwing the repair costs I started looking around and found my G35x. I wanted to start some modest performance upgrades, but nothing real exotic. I'm not a fast driver, but sometimes when I get that urge I want to make sure I have the right parts to make it happen. I have done some research on this series, but what can you guys (and Girls) tell me about this year and model that would help me make the right choices on parts. I'm also looking to do an exterior face lift, so any suggestions on bodykits, wings and any other parts would be great. Thanks.

plenum spacer, z tube, HR Y pipe, coupe midpipe, hks muffler are all things to look for performancewise, as far as body kits search Rookie in this forum he has real nice front bumper and sideskirts for sell for a fair price, they don't make a rear lip for the 05 rear bumper, as far as spoiler check ebay they have the factory wing as well as m3 lip spoilers that come prepainted

Welcome and congrats!

Browse around the tech areas to create a pretty fun list of mods for your style and let us know if we can be of assistance between certain models/brands as there are just too many ways you can go to list every option to ya

I put a plenum spacer, Z-tube, and grounding kit on my 2005 X about a month after I bought it and between them made for some nice improvements in performance and sound, especially above 3000 RPMs. The spacer and tube are your best, first mods. Get those, get 'em installed, and keep reading here. By the time you're done installing them, you'll have read enough to know which direction you want to go next.

Welcome!
