Big hello and servicing

Good morning everyone!

First of all I just want to say a big hello to everyone! Just signed up this morning and already enjoying the site.

Just bought a 2003 350Gt sedan 8cvt (pics to come soon) with 45k miles, for piece of mind I would like to do a full service on it.

Does anyone know if the oil filter, air filter, spark plugs are the same as the 350z because I can just order these parts from my local Nissan?

Also was thinking of putting 10w40 (mobil1). Would this be suitable?

Anything else I should be aware of when servicing?

Thanks
Ben

Yes, I believe the parts are all compatible since both use the vq35de.

They are, but don't order spark plugs from Nissan upgrade to some NGKs or something higher quality. Do a search, there's a thread about which everyone likes most.

OEM spark plugs are NGK, part number is PLFR5A-11 .

Also, IMO, buy a K&N or Mobil oil filter. The Nissan oil filter is made of paper and isn't constructed well.

True, but are they like low end NGK? I thought that thread was saying that the Nissan made ones were the low end NGK plugs? no?
