Manual lists the tank cap at 18 gal. How I made it to the gas station?

Anyone else manage to put more than this in their tank?

Wow odd. My Nav fuel counter was down to 0 miles left before empty way before I've put in close to 20 gal. I know it's probably conservative but it indicates 0 after the fuel light goes on.

i filled it to the brim! haha. It only happened because i was showing at HIN San Diego. They dont allow you to have more than 1/4 tank at the show. I was below 1/4 on the way to the show and just didnt fill up. Got on the freeway and halfway home i felt a little sputter, got off on the next exit and filled up 19.951 gallons!

and the fuel light goes on when you have 3 gallons left... it's just a safety precaution.

I realize that. It's like this. Fuel light = 30-40 miles left on the nav mpg screen. When the nav mpg screen goes to 0 = 17-18 gal on fill up. Now it seems that is conservative also. Good to finally know.

When the nav screen reads 0, I normally have 2.5 gal left in the tank.
