Safe Tire&Wheel Sizes For g35x? FI?

I've seen this talked about before for the AWD owners on here.
I just can't seem to dig up the information on here.

I'm looking to throw some 19's or 20's on my AWD without having to mod my suspension from stock or having to disable my AWD.

I just want to find correct offsets and tire width options I cant deal with.

Also, what cams you guys recommend?
I want more grunt without going FI

Thanks

20x8.5 +40 with a 245/35/20 no mod to the fenders. Nuff said.

I have the 19" Coupe Rays with 245/40/19 on all four corners. There are no problems with AWD. I'm on stock suspension and I have no problems with rubbing.

The easiest way to avoid problems with AWD is to keep the same tire sizes all the way around.

what are you looking for. Aggressive or not. Meaning by do you want to roll your fenders.

I'm looking at 19" rims. Most likely the g37 oem 19" rims, or the 19" inch axis pentas. I know the g37 rims are staggered, i think the front is 19x8 and the rear is 19x8.5, if Im correct..? but i have read that if i have the same tire size all around it would be okay. or if i pull the awd fuse there shouldnt be a problem with my drivetran.
Im also going to drop my car a little bit. not sure which springs to get. i want a gentle drop like around 1" to 1.5". Also does anybody know if there are aftermarket struts for the 05 g35x?
I dont mind rolling my fenders. Do u know how much would that run me? and what are the cons of doing this?

thanks

rolling fenders runs from 50-100. no cons to this. ur just allowing for a more aggressive setup to run with.
for cams go with JWT. look at a thread on cams and headers made by OCG35. some good info there

The g37 coupe wheels are 19x8.5 and 19x9. If you want to you can run 245 all around. You can run staggared because I am running a 19x9 19x10 with a 225/40 255/35. There is no aftermarket strut. You can either get coils which you dont want to do, or sent your fronts out to truechoice but those are just as much as coils.

Thanks guys you've always been helpful.

I searched through my old posts and found out I asked the same question years ago so thanks for not flaming me.

As for now my options on wheel & tire looks like leaning on the coupe 19's
They look good without being too distracting.

A little off subject here. Before I run into a shop and get my wallet stolen...

I dont beat my car & floor it... in fact to be HONEST I've never touched the floor with my gas peddle.

but

Today I'd say I gave it about 75% throttle getting onto the freeway to beat the traffic and I could smell something burning.

Kinda like oil.

I dont have any issues with my car and it's been smooth since I've had it in 2006.
I've run the car around 3500-4000 rpm and I start to get that smell again comming from the motor.
Drove it a little hard down the road and back for a 2-3 min run after being warmed up and not only got the smell again, but when I parked and got out I could smell it.

Should I be concerned?
Its running fine, sounds fine, and no loss in power.

I've always used synthetic oil and premium octane pump gas. I have about 78k miles on my 04 G35x
Checked my oil dipstick and it looks clean...

soo wth..
