Recommendations for Y pipe on 06 sedan

I've been looking around a bunch of forums to find a Y pipe either from a 07+ 350z or a g37... from what i heard (correct me if im wrong) those are the best OEM Y pipes to get.. althought i did run across this FLEX Y DOWN PIPE DOWNPIPE.. wondering if anybody has any knowledge of this y pipe.. yes its an ebay find but the structure of the pipe seems as if it would work well...

wait around to an HR-Y pipe man. Best one out there for us. All the aftermarket ones produce rasp

I have an HR Y Pipe on my '04 G35 and my '06 350Z and I love it. There may be better aftermarkets out there, but this seems to be the best bang for the buck. I have seen several here lately for about $100 shipped.

You should stick with the HR y-pipe for just sound. The Motordyne XYZ pipe wont fit his car he has awd, the transfer case is in the way.

The HR Y-Pipe is OEM from the '07+ G35 Sedan or 350Z which were from the VQ35HR engine. Prior years were the DE engine and had a different Y-Pipe that is less desiarable.

Best of my knowledge, Nissan/Infiniti did not release the HR engine until 2007 for any model so the X should just have the DE Y-Pipe. The only exception is the G35 coupe never received the HR (35) engine.
