G35 Day Today-Pics

Good day to buff up the 2004 G35x. New Wheels, tires, and BC Coilovers are on the way.

Brakes are from RacingBrake. Front are 4-pot caliper, with drilled and slotted rotors, Hawk brake pads. Rear are stock calipers with a bit larger rotor than stock, and also Hawk pads. Steel brake lines all around. The bakes are great. Bid improvement over 2004 stock brakes. Better modulation, and significantly quicker stopping time. They'll fit on stock 17 inch wheels, which is what I have them on, but I have 18 inch wheels and tires on order, as well as BC coilovers. As I remember the total cost of the brakes was about $2200.

Yep, I agree about the lower sills. I'd really like to have NISMO bumbers and side skirts like my other G35 has, that I gave to my son. But the kits are expensive and then to put them on and paint I just can't handle all that expense just the looks.

I wonder how much a shop would charge to paint what I've got on there. Maybe I could find a place that would do a decent job and not charge an insane amount.

$300 isn't too bad. It'd be kind of a no brainer. $500 is getting up there. I'll shop around.

Price of the kit isn't bad but by the time you have it painted and installed it probably adds up quite a bit. Any idea how much?

Idk where you are, but mine was 600 shipped. I had a bunch of other work done too, still came in under 1400 total.
