replacing steering wheel

My OEM steering wheel has all the leather on it cracking and the tan leather has black sections of it where it's been rubbed excessively.

I'm looking at buying an aftermarket steering wheel but I have a few questions.

What about the air bag? Is there an aftermarket steering wheel that I can reuse my airbag with?

What about the cruise and radio controls?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone have any experience with http://www.wheelskins.com/? Are they cheap or are they a possible option?

Wheels skins are pretty legit.

The short answer to all your questions are; What about it? No and not an option.

If you're not worried about dying then buy a hella JDM sparco steering wheel like in Tokyo Drift....yo.

So there is no aftermarket wheel that I can reuse my air bag with? That's bogus.

Is there any other car types who's steering wheels fit our cars?

Like he said, look at wheel skins or else look at someone parting out a g. Aftermarket steeringwheels aren't dot approved in the us.

yup, pretty sure they are all the same.
Contact them, see if they offer a different color leather.

just under $800 for the wheel with new leather and upper portion w/ carbon
just under $900 for the wheel with new leather, upper portion carbon, and the lower portion squared off with carbon.

$900, ugh. Why does everything I want cost so damn much? lol

Is there a market for old used steering wheels? Maybe I could sell my old one in the marketplace. How much would be fair to ask for it?

I talked to a company in Jacksonville, FL which is about an hour away from me that my dealer recommended calling Florida Automotive Restyling. They told me that I could get my front & rear seats, armrest and doors recovered for $1299. That is was a "kit" of some sort.

I also asked them about getting the steering wheel recovered and they told me that it would be $500 because it actually takes someone doing it by hand 2 days.

$300 sounds much sweeter than $500 and/or $900.
